Open adversarial peer review for serious scientific work

Conventional peer review is slow, opaque, and susceptible to institutional consensus. Reviewers are known to authors. Prestige substitutes for argument. Heterodox work is filtered before it reaches evaluation on its merits.

Principia Academia replaces gatekeeping with structured adversarial analysis — open, rigorous, and indifferent to the author’s affiliation or reputation.

A submitted preprint is processed through the Principia engine. The full gauntlet report — including every objection raised and every claim that survived — is published alongside the paper. Readers see not just the conclusion but the falsification record.

Community verification follows: open bounties are posted for the most consequential unresolved gaps identified by the engine. Independent researchers who supply the required data or derivation claim the bounty and earn co-authorship credit on the verification record.

The engine is operational. The Principia Substrati corpus — four papers on substrate mechanics — has completed full gauntlet analysis. The public platform is in development.

Early access for researchers and institutions is available by correspondence.
